I am paranoid about things like the Herschel effect and fogging paper. So I have a ridiculously expensive 40” Heiland (orange) LED tube safelight over the developing area and a small, wall-mounted safelight retrofitted with a glass Kodak OC filter by the enlarger. Both are dimmable, just in case.

Have a look at the video by Heiland on the one metre Heiland safelight for b&w. It is incredibly bright on full red. Not cheap at about 220 euros but it does look like the answer to brightness and safety
