As an owner and reader of both books (the first and the second, extended edition) I can highly recommend them! They are outstanding, especially the second, even much more detailed version. Really excellent quality.
It's a fascinating read, and a "must have" for film enthusiasts.
I've seen five different film manufacturers from the inside so far (factory visits) and I can ensure every reader of this book that he will get an extremely precise insight of film manufacturing by reading it.
