Hello

Am looking for feedback on a flash system for MF Macro photography (I shoot Bronica ETRSi and have the 105mm PE Macro as well as the Auto Bellows Attachment).

I am considering the Sunpak DX-12r along with the TTL cord (BR-1D) but was wondering if the light will be flat using a ring flash. Do the two light macro systems work better - even though there is no TTL compatability with Bronica.

How are the results using TTL Flash with macro photography?

How's this, using the Sunpak DX-12 and BR1D module.

Very nice...... I take it you are happy with the set-up; is it on an ETRSi system?

Nope, SQAi.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I'm assuming, since you have the BR-1D you're using the TTL functions.
How well does that work?
Slide worthy exposures or 'barely good enough for negs' or what?
I'm looking to buy the same setup for my SQ-Ai and I'd like to hear some about how easy it is to work with.

Well, I've never shot slides with the setup so I can't tell you how accurate it is. Of course like any piece of equipment you need to calibrate your setup to get the results you are aiming for. I did get some decent looking color negs from mine.
