I own a Canon Auto Bellows. If I take the bellows off the rail and come up with some kind of support, could I use this for tilt-shift effects with normal lenses?

Just tested with a 5dII and an EF/FD adapter with bellows and a 50mm 1.8. It doesn't appear that it will work. Any way I could make this work?

Focus mainly, the lens does need more coverage though. Which would mean a medium format lens most likely. I may post some test results.
Depending on the FL of the lens you are trying and the distance you are working at you very well may have trouble with focus. If the lens is a 50mm it's not going to focus at infinity, because of the bellows the lens can't be brought close enough to the film plane.
I've used a 135mm view camera lens on a bellows & it's just like an inconvenient way of using a 135mm lens, it was old & uncoated but the colors were interesting.
If you need infinity you may have to go through a T&S adapter or lens.
