You'll find it is actually labelled orthopanchromatic which I gather means it does have some red sensitivity but not as much as films like Tri-X, HP5+ etc. I bought a couple of rolls recently but haven't used them yet. It's not cheap either!

No, it is a true ortho film that can be developed under safelight.
