M adapter for Nikon FE2?

I would like to use a Zeiss Biogon 35 on my FE2 and wonder if there is an adpter at a reasonable price? Also, will using an adapter have a negative effec on the image or worklfow?

The Leica M lens is designed to be much closer to the film than any Nikon SLR will allow it to be mounted. A Leica lens mounted on a Nikon SLR would only be able to focus on objects very close to the camera.

You are out of luck if you already own the Zeiss Biogon 35mm M-mount lens.

However, if you just want to use a 35mm Zeiss on a Nikon body, here are three 35mm Zeiss lenses with Nikon F mounts that you can use:
Zeiss Milvus 35mm f/2.0 ZF.2
Zeiss Milvus 35mm f/1.4 ZF.2
Zeiss Distagon 35mm f/1.4 ZF.2

For a laugh, I just tried holding my Zeiss ZM 50 in front of my FM2, as far back as I could (the mirror would probably hit it if I tried to take a photo). With the lens focused at infinity I could focus at about 25cm.

Fotodiox makes many adapters, but not that one. Probably could find a used Nikon 35mm lens for less than the price of an adapter anyway.

Yeah. A <new> Nikkor 35/2.8 shouldn’t cost much and is a little gem. Should be possible to find in Ai or Ai’d. https://imaging.nikon.com/history/story/0038/index.htm
