I have a recent purchase - an LS9000 scanner. Its in great condition and all works very well, but there is an issue.

When scanning lighter negatives, like a snow scene or a cloud, it is possible to see yellowish tinge / colour permeating in the along the sides of the scan.

I have been using the correct 645 / 6x6 masks for the films I scan, but this doesn't make a difference.

It appears like it could be some kind of light leaking, but I thought the masks were supposed to remove this?

As for the warm colour, I am stumped...

Can anyone help?

It is also possible that the negatives have not been processed correctly, this isn't unknown with 120 film. Either the developer doesn't reach the edges of the film, or similarly the Bleack fix.

Have you tried doing it with B&W. Sometimes the longer developing stage with B&W corrects the problem
