Hi all,
May I ask for advice please.
I wish to replace my color LPL c7700 head with condensor B&W LPL c7700 head, but I cant find any price for that sort of item. My friend has one for sale but he don't know how to price it also. Good conditions item in no visual and mechanical defects.
Thank you in advance for support.
Regards

If it's any help, I bought the VCCE head for the C7700/670 for US$50 (excl. shipping) in 2013 on eBay (buy-it-now). I was also in good shape but needed some cleaning and it didn't have the power supply (same as for the color head which I had).

Here are some new prices: http://store.khbphotografix.com/LPL-Enlarger-Accessories/?page=2

Thanks, New are a bit expensive. Did you work on both heads color and condenser? Any comments on the quality of work and prints?
Thank you again for replying.

I've only used the VCCE head. I also thought that new was a bit pricey so getting the used head was nice even though shipping costed me more than the the head itself. It's a decent head and it works well for me. There are some light leak around the negative carrier but I haven't noticed any fogging due to that. I suspect that the grade scale is a bit off with modern papers but I've been too lazy to test that. I prefer to spend my sparse darkroom time on printing real photo's. I use the universal glass negative holder which works well for me. AN glass on top and plain glass at the bottom. If you spend a few minutes checking for dust with a magnifier on a (cheap) lightpad, then I find that dust is a non-issue. I get nice prints from this enlarger.

So I got condenser print head for 200e, first 2 sessions done, so far I'm very impressed!
Thanks for all comments.
Regards
Dan
