LPL ET-500 Foot Pedal Connector???

I have a LPL ET-500 timer. I would love to a foot pedal, but would rather not buy one online. In looking at the connector it seems to be a typical DIN 3 pin plug, can anyone who has a little more knowledge confirm this? I think it would be possible to buy a male connector, and wire up a momentary foot pedal.

It looks like that to me, too. The question is of course how it's wired, but that's easy enough to try out.
I do believe that these DIN plugs come in more than one possible diameters, so be sure to measure the diameter of the mantle (the circular bit) and the pin pitch so you can compare that against whatever catalog plugs you can find.

Be careful, I have fried a number of devices over the years by inadvertently connecting the wrong wires together.

In case anyone in the future is interested, I was successful in making my own foot pedal. I bought an inexpensive pedal that is known as a momentary pedal as it essentially just connects two wires shorting a circut to trigger the timer. I the cord has three wires but only two are needed. I connected the white and red with another longer cord and that cord I soldered to a DIN 3pin Male connector. I opened the timer just to make sure I was soldering the correct wires with the correct pins and success.
