In a shared darkroom I help run, we have a couple of LPL C7700s (model 3281). On each, the top rear panel of the lamphousing, a thick metal panel which is ribbed to dissipate heat, doesn't sit flat when secured in place. It sticks up slightly at the back by 2 or 3mm. Accordingly there is slight light leakage from the rear of the lamp housing onto the column. It seems as if the plate is not seated properly, but we have (we think) followed the instructions (p6 of the manual) properly.
Does anyone else have this problem, and is there a knack to assembling it which we are missing? Is it a design fault? Many thanks
