Hello everyone, I'm now having plenty of questions regarding a new lpl 7452 I just built.

The question is, when I finished building it, I find that it is quite unstable - if I push it just a tiny bit, the head will shake.

Now even if I haven't used it yet, I know it is bad: I use split grade techniques pretty often, if f I were to change settings on the head after one exposure, the head will shake, then my second exposure will be instantly off key!

Is it because I didn't tighten enough the bolts that connect the column and baseboard? If I mount it on the wall, will there be such problem?

Thank you!

Jing

This is not normal - something is not right.

Mine, with a standard baseboard mount, is quite solid. It shouldn't be necessary to wall mount it just to achieve basic stability.
