How long can I expect a working solution of LPD to last if it's stored in a full bottle? I am using a batch now and I keep it in a 1 gallon chemical jug after printing sessions. If it makes a difference this was the neutral tone dilution.

I have 2 liters of 1:1 LPD in a Nova Slot Processor that I cover with the tubes and plastic cling film that is 6 months old and it still is going strong. Of course, I replenish at the rate of 1/3 ounce (stock) per print, so this information may or may not be of use.

I use it replenished, and am still replenishing from stock solution made in 2014. In the past couple years I've had to replenishment more often to keep the same activity, and it turns brown sooner...

Same as NedL. I start my third year by replenish the dev each time I use it. I store diluted solution ready to use (no additional dilution for replenishment).

Huh, I did notice my 1:9 development time was rather long with even RC paper. People are doing 1:1??

Yup. 1:30 minimum but I do 3:00 to full completion at 1:1. YMMV.

More or less the same here. I store stock solution in a 1 gallon jug in the basement and use it to replenish a 1:1 working solution. Going on 3 years with no problems. LPD is awesome.

LPD =
Lasting Paper Developer.
Definitively my favorite paper developer. I use it as recommended: 1+1 for cold tones, 1+2 for neutral tones, 1+3, 1+4 for warm tones.
I just hope it won’t disappear.
