For sale here is a clean and pretty Black Paint Leica III camera with the 50mm f3.5 collapsible Elmar lens. Also included is the original leather case in decent condition. A modern lens cap and a third party replica of a correct lens hood. Please look at the pictures for the nice cosmetic condition. The shutter runs well at all speeds fast and slow, I hear nothing wrong with it and the exposures were correct when I used it with film. The viewfinder is clean. The range finder is reasonably bright and contrasty - I have never seen a brand new one so its hard to say how bright it was back when it was new. This one is contrasty and bright enough for my old weak eyes to focus easily.
I looked through the the lens with a LED light, the lens glass is fairly clean with nothing really to note, no fungus or scratches, maybe a tiny bit of haze maybe. The focus is ok but not as silky smooth as it could be if lubed. The aperture is very smooth.
$515 plus $25 for postage with insurance in the USA. If you are from overseas we can talk about shipping price.
