Love my Flex; Need a longer lens...which to choose? Hasselblad or Rolleiflex

Thanks. I am unsure if that is the best route but definitely one [Mutar] to consider. The pricing on those things are quite high right? ~800 USD, I think?

I bought my Mutars for 800€ (around $1000) both together some years ago . The M1,5 was in an excellent shape with sun shield and leather case. The M0,7 was in an optical good shape, but came without shield and case and has a partial broken front filter ring.

Proud owner since 8 months of this elegant beast. Now saving(or rob a bank) for the 50 and 150mm. Everything you want from a camera is here; ok flash sucks, but you can use available light (as I did in the museum 1/30 no tripod) or/and tell those f...s to sit still happy search.

Nice camera - I've had mine for about the same time and I love it. Sounds crazy, but it's my walk-around camera now! All the same, I don't like shooting below 1/125 handheld, and I have pretty steady hands. All depends on how large you want to print, of course. Ultimately, this is a great tripod camera. Should people buy one? My feeling is, if you think the tilt function is a gimmick, then the SL66 is probably not for you, and you need something simpler, like a Hasselblad.

Have you already considered a Rolleiflex 600x? Leafshutter, very similar lenses to Hasselblad but more advanced and less expensive.

I am a professional photographer and have been using a Rolleiflex 6008 for more than 20 years. This is an extremely reliable camera (at some point it replaced Hasselblad in the NASA programs). It has Zeiss and Schneider equvalents to the major Hasselblad lenses and it is much more convenient to use. It has all the frills you can imagine (mirror lock-up; three types of measuring light, several types of automatic mode; etc). Also it is easier to load. But the most surprising point: the second hand you can find it much cheaper than Hasselblad or SL66.
