OK. I don't know where else to post this, but I have just come into a very large box of old filters, adapters, etc. I haven't been able to go through the entire pile yet, but they seem to be mostly Kodak Series V, VI, VII and even VIII, though there are also camera-specific filters and close-up lenses for some very old stuff band some quite small ones (portrait adapter lens for a Kodak No. 2 Cartridge Premo, for example.) Most are dirty, but very few are damaged.

Here's the deal. I don't want to take this stuff to the dump. but even I have a limit as to how much stuff I can have "in storage." If anyone has a need for anything of this type, PM me, but don't be in a rush. I will try to find what you're looking for and send it on. Since small items don't take much postage, it will be a freebie. If anyone wants a grab-bag of old photo material, I'll happily make one up and send it along.

Do your homework before you let everything go too cheaply. You never know what might have real cash value. I can't begin to count how many things came "free" in purchases that were worth more than everything else in the entire kit including the main item.

Nope, sorry folks. I'm not going to charge for this stuff and I'm not going to post a list. Too much stuff, too much fun giving it away. I can always use money, but the stuff came to me for free and it leaves the same way. If you have a need, send me a note and I'll look for what you want. I won't be able to do it later in the fall, since school starts up and I actually have to work for a living, but I can do it in the next week or so.

If by any chance you have an infrared filter in Series VI, I am dying to have one. I have never seen one on eBay.

But then sometimes seeing orphan equipment find a good home is compensation in itself.

PS: Sorry Whitey, I didn't see your response until I moved on in the list. I had a feeling you already felt that way.

I don't suppose there's much chance of any 30.5mm filters, but I'm looking for any I can get for my little Rollei 35S.

I could use a bay 1 to 40.5 or series VI adapter. I could also use some basic series V and VI filters if you have any going spare.

Cheers

What a generous offer! Thanks for not simply chucking the items.

I am interested in any series VI filters, step-up rings and other adapters to series VI, or anything else similar. Also interested in lens hoods, if you have them. I will PM as well.

That's good Denis. Sometimes the idea of giving things away is hard to grasp. I think it can be repeated.

Have any UV blockers?

Lots.What size? PM me.

I just may have one or two. PM me.

I've got an eye out for a 32 mm push-on orange filter (for my Perkeo II). I've found and bought yellow, green, red and a focar 1 close-up, but alas, no orange hath appeared.

I did see a couple of large batches of series adapters go by on ePrey a while back, but I can't help thinking there's a couple of railcars or old tractor trailers somewhere in the world full of all sorts of adapters and filters from the 40s, 50s and 60s.

Very genorous offer for you to make.
Any Bay 1 filters for B&W such as Yellow, Orange or Red?
I'd be happy to pay for postage etc.

They will be well looked after in their new home.

I'd be interested in dark yellow, orange, green and blue filters in series V. Also soft focus types in the same size.
thanks,

Larry

Got it, I think...

No real stash of bayonet adapters, I'm afraid.

dark yellow, orange, green and blue filters in series V

I have lots of Series V. May not be the exact colours you want, but hey, they're free, right?

PM me, folks. I can't keep looking in both places for requests!

A 67mm filter will screw directly into a Series VIII holder. I have a Series VIII holder with 3 thumb screws that I use on all my LF lenses and just need to carry only 67mm filters. Works like a charm.

Wow! There sure is a pent up demand for old Series V,VI and up filters. So much so that I have to put a halt to the requests for awhile, until I can get some of this stuff in the mail. I'll put another post up when I've cleared the decks. By then, I'll have a pretty good idea of what I have left. I've been able to find something for almost everybody, though the match may not be perfect (why isn't anyone asking for color correction filters? I have piles of those!) I'm running out of red and green and orange filters and the adapters are a catch as catch can situation.

More later. I will respond to everyone that has asked for something, but please, give me a chance to shovel out my work space before I get any more requests. I don't want to leave anyone feeling that I'm ignoring them.
