looking for the year of manufacture of a kodak medalist I

hi all, was wondering if you can tell by the number on a lens in what year it was born, I noticed some of them start with the letters EE mine starts with ER anyone know the difference

Kodak's dating code for lenses made from around 1940 onwards is:

CAMEROSITY
1234567890

Prefix with 19

EE = 1944, ER = 1945
