I have a leica viewfinder made in new york set in mm instead of cm 35mm,50mm,73mm,90mm,127mm,135mm I did not know leica products were made in new york on the back it reads "eleitz newyork usa 1039

Also a working leica meter 3 , Icould use some instructions. there are two triangles one filled in black and one a outline the latter seems to coincide with my other meters.

Quite a few items were made in NY. The "Imarect" finder had the later models in mm. Motors for the M2's were designed by Norman Goldberg in NYC. Soft releases & a number of small accessories. Think lens hoods etc.
