I am looking for the smallest flash I can get for the xpan. I am not looking to light up a room or anything, just to be able to get close enough for close portraits.

Thanks.

Because of Recycle time issues & Out of flash, Remote battery power issues, you should only consider a flash that uses 4 AA batteries, ( minimum ), despite the size of anything smaller.

A 6 volt flash has a decent recycle time & can always be powered by a Quantum 1, or 1+, if not a Turbo.

That being said, I'm partial to the Sunpak 120J, or 120J TTL. Because of the round removable reflector, it has a chance of covering that area, when kept horizontal & used with a Quantum Silver Half Shell Snoot.
