I am looking for a liquid concentrate developer to use with Neopan 400.

Is anyone using Zonal Pro Gamma Plus?

Any other suggestions?

Rodinal. Liquid. Highly concentrated. Keeps forever. Makes all films look, at the very least, decent. With care and personal testing, Rodinal can make any film look great.

I use HC-110 Dil B. Especially good for pushing Neopan, but good all around.

some of the nicest negatives i have processed in caffenol c + ansco 130 are neopan 400.
they look perfect.

dektol 1+9 (edit: oh...but wait. Dektol is powder! Oooops! ) :0

I like Rodinal also. Just tried it with Neopan 400 rated at 200. Havent printed it yet, but the negs look nice.

Another vote for DD-X. Also had great results with Rodinal, although the grain is emphasised.

I have had good luck with Clayton F-76+ 1:15. I used D-76 1:1 times for this.

I like Rodinal too, but it may be a bit grainy with Neo 400, but then again...

I just did two rolls with P'cat HD with times off the MDC and the negs look great. I haven't printed yet, but FWIW, that combo (so far) is a winner.

David, I'll second using Pyrocat HD 1:1:100 with neopan-400. Expose it at ISO 200 and go through the usual presoak for 3 minutes at 70 Deg F.

Throw in your pyro (also at 70 deg F) and start the timer for a countdown from 14 minutes. Agitate for the first two minutes, then again for 10 seconds at 9 minutes, repeat at 6 minutes, and repeat at 3 minutes. Stop and fix as usual. This is my standard 400 speed film and process for pretty much everything I do.

Negs produced will print really well!

I think that ID11 1+1 and XTOL 1+1 work very well with Neopan 400. I will send out my postcard in the next days, then you will have an example of Neopan 400 in ID11 1+1. I will add an enlarged part of it as another postcard so that you can see how it performs. Postcards are a bit small.

Ah, too bad, now I see that you are looking for a liquid concentrate ...

Cheers
Ruediger

In 35mm, I like Neopan in DD-X and Clayton F76+. I have almost entirely switched to F76+ because it gives very good film speed and small grain.

I have two mystery rolls sitting here that I am going to try with rodinal 1+100 for 20 minutes.

Sound about right?

Neopan 400 is my main film in medium format. I soup it in X-tol 1:1 for 8 min @ 70 degrees for most lighting situations. My other combo, which is great for overcast days (low contrast) is Rodinal 1:50 for 12 min. agitate first minute then once at 9 min mark, 6 min mark, and 3 min mark. Excellent sharpness and great tonality!

HC-110

Its cheap, its liquid, it works miracles, it makes my nipples perky.

I've tried it with Super-Prodol, HC-110 and ID-11. All are good, though only HC-110 is in liquid form (at least, where I live.)

PCAT, PMK and Perceptol all work great!
