I'm in the United Kingdom and looking for a Chromegatrol, either a 412-045 or a 412-037, or the power supply without the timer for a Chromega D. KHB is selling one with a hefty price tag from across the sea, was wondering if anybody had one or knew somebody who had one in Europe. Thanks in advance.

Out of curiosity I had to look this up to see what you were talking about...

But looking, ebay does have a listing for a used one at way below the new price at B+H, even when taking in postage =

PS double checking the link, it comes up as sold but it ISN'T!

Google 'Chromegatrol' and look for the ebay link about half way down the page and click that to take you to listing where it is still for sale.

Did find that one myself when going through ebay, but that's the 040 for US voltage. If I wanted to use it here, I would need to get a transformer, just to use a transformer, ironically. I thought about it, but then I would also have to get 120V light bulbs if I wanted to connect safelights through this. I want to find a 240V one, or the old 037 which can be recalibrated.

240V will neither be optimal as voltage has been reduced to 230V in the UK, though with quite some tolerance.
Maybe after Brexit the UK will crank up their voltage again to pre-EU standard...

I did not realize that you actually are looking for a regulated power supply, so you will be fine then.

Ben, do you actually need a regulated power supply (issues as apt connectors aside)?

Unfortunately yes. These power supplies for the Omega run the fan at 120v, a 22.5V lamp and another light at a different voltage, all through a 6 pin connector. I could connect everything separately through its own supply, but that's all too messy and in the end could end up pricier than finding one of these. And yes Paul, the 037 was one you could open up and recalibrate on the spot for a different voltage, but the newer 040(120V) and 045(240V) can't do that unless I start replacing parts in the circuitry. I have found several 040s that I could get from the US, but haven't bumped into a 037 or 045 yet.

The accessory voltage should be 120VAC.
But in case your place has a stable voltage, which is my actual point, and you could get for cheap the two neccessary transformers and are into wiring/soldering that could be an alternative.
