I'm not sure how long I've been a member of this forum, it'll probably say it on the side somewhere after I make this post (this isn't quite relevant), but I haven't introduced myself yet.

My dad got me my first film camera about a year ago for my 18th birthday (a Praktica LB2), but I've been using my parents Digital P&S for some time before that. I've had an interest in images for a while, but it wasn't until I saw some old B&W photos that I truly wanted to make my own. Most of my photos have not been seen by many people, many have not been seen at all. I suppose the truest photography should be this way, and I suppose my truest shots will not be seen until long after my death, but I've embraced this.

But enough talk. The real reason for this post is to share my photography and get some feedback, because like everyone, I too get discouraged sometimes. Here is my flickr photostream (hyperlink).
