Long Island Large Format

It's A Really Long Island.
We should have our own group.
Since I've joined APUG, I received a few invitations to join others
on the Mainland, unfortunately the timing is never right.
It's always difficult to schedule a trip upstate, or to NJ, or PA.
But, if we could get together, and do things closer to home that
would work for me, and I'm hoping would encourage a better connection.
Hopefully I'm not wrong. Hope to hear from you soon.

P.S. : I have a Hasselblad also, so my Medium Format comrades
can join the club.

Not to be selfish but there seems to be enough for the 35mm crowd,
elsewhere. So I would be nice to concentrate on the Big Film.

I am in Northport - do mostly 5x7 or 4x10 - also, have a hard time joining up on the meetings on the other side of the bridges - seems like there should be a few more of us on the island - keep me posted on any ideas for outings/events/etc.

I'm in Roslyn Heights. I have an Omega View 45F 4X5. Haven't shot large format lately. Recovering from Cervical Spine surgery. I'm lucky to be holding a 35mm SLR at this point but, I am ready to set up the 4X5 to do some studio shots or outdoors on the deck.

Ron my pickup is in trouble, so I can't come for a visit to taste the essence of lovely Long Island. Some sort of electronic problem, I've been told. Hopefully it'll get fixed sometime in the next month. ----- Jan

Hi, got an invitation to join this group. Although I don't want to belong to any club that will accept me as a member; I will accept this time for special reasons
It will be a hassle to join your meetings because I live in Europe & only once a year visit your great city.
