I am probably meeting a friend in London on Saturday. I hope no one minds if she comes along to the meet, she has a Nikkormat EL2, so she is one of us ;-)

I've just packed a print portfolio to bring with me tomorrow and thought I should revisit this thread to check up on where we are meeting. Thought it may be useful if I fetched up in the right place.

** Pfew **

Just completed printing my first print produced in my darkroom. (It was finished only last Sunday).
So far so good, I even toned it following Tony's precious advice :D

The lemon tree is the place where we meet up, mini map, and address details are in the thread.
Watch out, the street is tiny and easily missed. The pub has a small dark blue facade.

Any pbs, give me a call.

See you tomorrow !

Darkroom up and running on time Delphine, what an achievement. We will have to get you co-opted onto the 2012 Olympic committee. Prints galore now.

Tony

'Fraid I am going to miss todays meet, am laid up with the lurgy!

My thanks too Delphine, well worth the effort I think everybody appreciates what you have done.

Tony

Damm...I missed this thread. Next time I will attend

Thank you Delphine for organising, and everyone else for attending! Had a really good time and looking forward to the next one.

Ian

It was good to meet people in real life and put a face on a name, although, for Jon, it was really put a name on a face. I still cannot believe that I found leicaman: Monsieur, I am waiting for your shot.

Mine is this one. I was shooting the reflections of a friend and I onto that restaurant window, and I show leicaman in the viewfinder. I remember focusing and thinking: this is a leica. Took my shot. Our reflections hardly came up, but still teasing me, leicaman was there on the shot:

It was nice to see such a variety of photographs to which web publication does not do justice.
Katie and others, were very inspirational and saw me walking away very thoughtful indeed.

Till next time :D

Delphine

Delphine,

Thanks for organizing yesterday, I think it was great success and has a lot of future potential.
As for the (leicaman) picture, yes thats me eating again. My image of you
I'm afraid has gone, I found the contact sheets of that day but that strip is missing, must have been grossly under exposed.
Sorry but I was eating my lunch.

Regards JON.
