London APUG meet/ Rachelle visit

Hi,

This weekend Rachelle (mooseontheloose) is visiting London.

Noel (Xmas) and myself are meeting her at the Liverpool Street station, on the exit to Liverpool street, the one with the Kindertransport monument at 10:00AM, Sunday, 13th September.

We will be shooting the nearby markets of Old Spitalfields, Brick Lane and probably Columbia Road flower market.

Any APUGer in or around London is kindly invited to join us.

Look what happens when I go out for the day!

I'm amazed at how many people have offered to meet with me over my travels. Unfortunately a few meet-ups fell through, but London looks like it will work out.

(Kraker - Bert tried to convince me to go to the Netherlands, we agreed to meet halfway in Belgium, but unfortunately it just didn't work out this time around. In any event I'd like to spend more time in both countries so the next time I come to Europe I'll let you both know!)

Anyway, I'll be happy to meet any other Apuggers who might be able to come, if not, I'm sure I'll have fun shooting with Ricardo and Noel (the last time I went shooting with someone was many years ago in Victoria with BWKate - another forum member who we seem to have lost. She was the real master of HIE!)

If I had know you're into HIE I would have thrown in my last roll of HIE to lure you to our low lands ....

Actually, posting here in this thread earlier today made me think of her, indeed. I remember BWKate and her photos from many a Postcard Exchange ago. Hope she's OK, haven't seen her around for a long time indeed.

I miss you all and have been unfortunately busy with family health emergencies and situations but I think of my friends on Apug often..I will be back as soon as I can..Still have the coop darkroom and still processing and printing my own B&W..Even have two rolls of Hie left!!!
