That's about £7 based on the article's $ price. Is there a U.K. retailer and if so what's the price? Sounds like the old adage; the bigger the hype the bigger the price. Is it that much better than say fresh off the line Ilford HP5+ or D400 which is obtainable at a lot less.

Therefore most probably ORWO N74 Plus..
Not quite... another text by Lomography has it about that film being "cut from an old roll of cine film".

They got an imaginative copywriter. He has it about new german cinema, Brandenburg Gate in sunrise, teenagers after adanced through night, an old couple in love. Magic moments of life, that film is made for.

They added a ISO 100 version, called Potsdam.

As I read Bob Shanebrook's latest edition of "Making KODAK Film - Expanded Second Edition", I realize that making a really good black and white film of any speed is not a trivial undertaking. I understand now why it takes not only a very significant outlay of capital to even start a film company, but it takes domain-specific expertise that must be very hard to come by. That being said, I'd never trust my hard earned money to a start-up when Kodak and Ilford are still making great and reliable film.
