Do you have a hard bound edition subscription? I realized that a book should be out pretty soon, I have the soft bound subscription and I'm really enjoying them. I'm putting together a new library room so there is space ready for them.

For those outside of the USA we send the two titles we print--this saves significant postage costs. Since this is not an issue or those in the USA, we only send one title and the next one approximately two to three months later.

John, I was looking and reading through the previous books I've received to date, it's interesting that you referenced image #9 in the book, "Oregon", which I've yet to receive, I found something that might interest you.

Look at image #9 in the "Fifteen Photographs of Japan", then read the commentary at end and note the comments for #3, #7, #9. Tell me what you see after reading the comments.

I love these books of the portfolios and they will occupy a special place in my library. I made a recent inquiry about future gallery shows and received a reply.

Maybe next week? I'm keeping a lookout for the mail so it isn't left in the rain, or snow, as it might any day now.

??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I pay more than that for the soft cover, once you factor in shipping. Looks like a helluva deal. I'd buy this in a heartbeat if I weren't already signed up for the soft cover series.

Has any of you who's a subscriber to the soft cover series gotten yours yet?

The soft bound books were sent last week.

Regarding the book Brett Weston book on Ebay. We sent the books published to date to a new subscriber to the hardbound edition.

UPS damaged all of the Brett Weston books (as well as others that were in the same box) and they were rejected by the customer, who is paying $135 for each book. The books were packed extremely well--double boxed and with extra padding between the two boxes. UPS really screwed up. UPS paid us for the books and then insisted on picking up the damaged books. Obviously, they are trying to sell them to recoup some of their losses. their loss is your gain, although the books are badly damaged--seriously banged up at the corners, and thereby, in our opinion, worthless. You can still see the pictures, however. they were not damaged.

If some of you do not receive a books soon it is because your credit card did not go through. We were at Paris Photo until early this week and leave this weekend for Art Basel Miami Beach, so I have not had time to contact those whose credit cards did not go through, or even time to see whose cards did not go through.

On 10 December Paula and I are giving a talk at the Art School of the Boca Raton Museum of Art.

My copy hasn't arrived and my credit card is still good so I hope the postal worker is enjoying the latest book.

I didn't received mine too, and my credit card was charged so it went through.

I got mine, so I'm sure yours is coming. Overseas has got to take a lot longer, no? BTW, it's well worth the wait. IMHO, Oregon is the best book so far in the series.

I don't know he might get his faster living in France than me living in Washington State.

Even better, I received a special collector version of "Portrait of my Father"
It's a soft cover version but at the bottom of the dedicated page to his brothers is written " This Edition is limited to one hundred copies"
I think this page was mixed up with one form the hard cover edition but anyway I got a collector
