In 35mm photography, one can estimate the angle of view of a lens by placing your thumb about the same distance as your chosen focal length in front of your eyeball. For instance, to estimate the coverage of my 55mm lens, I would put my thumb 55mm in front of my eyeball. The area covered by your nail would approxmate the coverage of the lens.
I have been recceing some location that I intend to photograph with my rollei TLR. But since the rollei is a bit cumbersome to travel with (i'm on a bike in urban areas that are not very safe). Also I don;t have lens cap or hood and don;t want to damage it.
Is there some aid or rule that I can use so I know roughly what area would be covered by my 75mm rollei?
