So, I have some old Fotokemika Varycon paper, totally fogged when using normal paper developer. But in Lith is it usable.
And I am happy with the results, but in the same time - man, once when this package is gone - no more of this, you cannot buy this stuff any more. Same goes for Fomatone MG 543.

Let me share results of Fotokemika Varycon in Moersch Easy Lith (25ml A, 25ml B in 1 liter of water):

Beautiful result!
And even though it's sad that once it's gone it's gone, you díd get to print these beautiful photos!

Better to use expired sheets with lith printing than to trash them because of heavy fogging.

Long time ago when I lived in Croatia, and Fotokemika was still producing - Emaks FB grade 2 was my most used paper. I would drive to Samobor, buying directly from the factory.

On a positive note there is still a lot of lithable paper out there for those willing to search for it…..

It was raining the whole weekend in the north of Germany, so I spend some time in my darkroom again.
I made a comparison of prints: Lith Fotokemika Varycon (up left) vs Lith Fomatone MG 542 (up right) vs Normal RC print on Fomaspeed (bottom):

Second comparison: Fomatome MG 542 in Easy Lith vs Fomatone MG in Ilford PQ universal:
