Mike and Travis, thanks for your kind comments.

I got Ruediger's print today. As Mike said, very nice tones and I like the slight blur of the car together with the strong lines of the building.
Before printing this I thought a bit about that car. Would it have been better to wait and do the image without the car? After the printing I looked again and in the end I think that the image without the car would not be worth printing. The car brings in another kind of dynamic into the otherwise (although dynamic because of the wide angle) very static subject.

ciao

Mine were printed a while back. I've just sent them out in the post this morning. Many many apologies. I've received some great prints from Matti, Kris and Chris. It great to see the wide range of subject that Lith can cover. Thanks guys. Hope you enjoy my efforts...

I received an outstanding print from Lillian Sly. Man, I gots to get some infrared goin'. The black mat suits the print perfectly. I wish I was as far up the learning curve as Lillian.

Thank you for your appreciation. I don't feel I'm very far up that curve. I sent different work to the others on our list because I couldn't get 3 good liths of the same neg. It still feels like each good one is luck or a fluke.

I just received mikeg's print as well. Very nicely done, lith is a good process for this subject, the stem has a slight greenish tint to it and the petals have a slight pink/salmon tint to it. Very effective.

I also received Mike's print. Green stem and pink petals? Very good choice of paper. I never used it before, but I ordered some after I received your print!

Thanks all for a great round....I'm glad I decided to join.

I have just received Mike Taylor's Inuksuk. It's a very striking image and the lith effect complements the stpne & lichen textures well. Thanks Mike!

I take it no one from Group 2 has received my prints yet? Sent them out a while back, should have got to their destinations by now. Sorry, don't have anything suitable to send out as replacements at the moment. Will print some more when I have some spare time.

I recieved my print from Barry. Man this guy is good. I now claim it as one of my reference prints to judge where I should be in a print.

Two for one!

I received Pete H's lith prints today; his Eider duck and a delicate beach scene. That beach print is just lovely, Pete.

For me, this is a pleasure to hold someone else's work; I'm relatively isolated in my little corner here so most work I get a chance to see is behind glass in a museum or in a gallery. It's beyond bonus that these are lith prints that I get to see close up.

Cheers to all.

My print from Barry arrived today. I'm going to have to get it out and prop it up by my desk and admire it at length.

OK Lillian, it seems to me that there is not much interest in another lith print exchange. You have my address from the postcard exchange and I have yours. So how about I send a lith print to you and you send one to me?

I made my first attempt at lith printing last week.

Would be a willing participant in any exchange that takes place in the future
