Lith developer for Ilford Multigrade FB Warmtone

Has anyone got experiences lith printing with this particular paper?

What developer works well with it? Any examples to link to?

From what I heard on a swedish forum, the Ilford FB WT papers do not lith well, i.e. there is no significant lith-look. This might be totally related to the lith developer in that case Kodalith.

Ilford warm tone is one of my favourite papers for lith.

Use champion nova lith dev a b , mix approx 1-10 , overexpose as usual for lith.
Here is the secret. When the blacks barely start to emerge and the image is still looking flat and muddy, pull the print , stop, and then put into the rapid fix. Watch what happens.
I would be interested to here your results. I have used over 50 boxes of this material in different sizes doing liths and I can assure you it works, just need to test a bit.

I made the postings on the swedish forum that i think TimeUnit is reffering to.
In my gallery the picture "Beacon" was made on Ilford Multigrade Warmtone FB 1k in Kodalith (I used a traditional slow fix though, Calbe A300). The pictures "The Second Harvest" and "Lighthouse" were made in the same way but on Forte Polywarmtone Plus FB which I believe is more Lith-print-looking. I'm pretty new to lith-printing though so I am not realy sure what to expect and what is a good lith print.

sodium sulfite, and sodium carbonate.

I compounded a developer using the three above
chemicals and, a surprise to me, it turned out to be
a lith developer. Later I found the above site and
Wall's Normal Hydroquinone. Wall's has a formula
very similar to the the lith developer I by
happen chance compounded. Dan

Hydroquinone 35 grams. I use print chemistry one-shot.
If I had some 81 to try I would start with a 1:35 dilution.
I then would test 5 x 7s using 125 ml one-shot. Testing
a lith developer is a time consuming endeavor.

Brew up a 1/10th or smaller batch and test it out. Dan
