I live in Denver, and have been using a well known service here. That is until my slides came back scratched. I grave up on film for a time because of the low quality of service I was getting (several labs across the US).

Is there anyone out there who is consistently reliable?

As places went under I finally moved to North Coast Photographic Services in Carlsbad, CA. I wish I had started there 20 years ago. Their E-6 processing and turn around for all my 120 & 4x5 has been flawless after the 2 years now that I've used them.

I've been using AGX and I like them quite a bit. I just had them push process Provia 100F to 1600. They came out low contrast but still very usable. I was planning to push this film to limit, but then the light dropped off very fast from when I last metered.

For slides I use Dales Labs in Hollywood, Fl. For Super8, I’ll probably use Dwayne’s in OK.
What I am really waiting for is Ektachrome in 120 and D100 in 16mm.

I've used AGX and their work was fine. But Dwayne's was cheaper and I have never had issues with their work. Although I do my own E6 now, I still send out anything that needs to be mounted. Note that Dwayne's won't mount polyester based film, in case you have some of that Lomo stuff.
