If anyone is going to try this to their Technika let me suggest that when you reassemble the shoe hold it upside down, place each spring in its slot, use a q-tip to put a dollop of grease or vaseline on both ends of the two springs. This will hold the springs in place when inverting and positioning the "shoe" on the body of the Technika.
