Linhof 4x5 Help...

Hey Y'all,
I just got myself a Linhof Tech III and I have a question about lensboards.

Along with the camera, came a Schneider-Kreuznach Angulon 6.8/90mm lens on a Linhof board.

But, this board does not fit the camera. So, can someone help me out and point me in the direction of a board that would fit the lens and camera?

Without knowing the particulars, you may have missed the point that the Technika III uses a different lensboard than the later Technika IV, V, and beyond. Tech III boards are square, later Tech IV boards have clipped diagonal corners on the two bottom edges (six sides).

Well, the 90mm is apparently on a recessed tech IV board. Let the hunt begin.

Sell the recessed Tech IV board and buy some Tech III boards.

Don't buy a file. The recessed lensboard should be worth two or three Tech III flat boards.

You need to get rid of it NOW, there is no way to enjoy a "Given Linhof" it takes years of labor and toil to truely appriciate the nature of a Linhof...
