For me if zeiss and leica needed to be compared at anatomy , zeiss is a bone drawing but leica is flesh color drawing.

I found Linhof 70 and 220 is precomputer times modernist designs with design made with pen , paper and by civil engineer like an old locomotive design. Main purpose is to use an arch at every corner to make impact resistant camera. And final camera with massive mass will look like an minimalist or modernist sculpture. No impact simulation , no small design , but big massive one.

I found Zeiss and Rodenstock draws the print with finger tip and graphite powder , lots of highest resolution stuff. Light and shadow is within eachother.

I found these lenses are completly unusual for leica user.

Leica gives relief and flesh with colored details like vains , blood under skin , and looks bald and simple.

Zeiss is more elegant , more aristocratic and religious and older.

Leica is like an renaissance. Younger , more dynamic

After that, I thouoht I must collect money and buy a 220.and its a new world.

Umut
