I need to replace the light shield where the dark slide is inserted on a Koni-Omegaflex M. It feels like a velour type material.

There is a kind of thin self adhesive black velvet like material, that comes in sheets of 20x20 cm, for sale at DIY stores (over here although).
It sticks rather well AND can easily be removed, easier than it would be stuck with any 'traditional' glue...
It is easy to cut it in any shape you want, even very thin strips (1,5 mm).
I have used that material to repair the sealing of both the WISTA 6x9 roll film backs I use om my Silvestri.
And to cut a O ring for my Omega D3 enlarger for on the underside of the condenser's tube which presses the negative carrier.
