This is been around the block, who has or has used a Kenko KFM-1100.

Kenko is merely a Minolta meter design, rebadged. You would be better off asking about Minolta Autometer Vf.

I have a Minolta IVf purchased new almost 20 years ago, still going strong. Fantastic meter.

Hello Graham,

I have the KFM-2100 - so the KFM-1100 + spot metering. I got it around chirstmas and thus far have been quite pleased. It's rather plasticy feeling and somewhat clunky, but it works as a meter should and is nice and simple in terms of functionality and control. The buttons are quite manageable with gloves, and yet sunk in enough to prevent accidental pressing. The main controls are on hand and not hidden in submenues.

If I had one real complaint it's that the rubber sync lead cover is totally useless and continuously falling loose... I've had to tape it down. Othwerwise it's fantastic.

I won't say much else as this is the bigger brother to the meter you are looking at, but if you have any questions on this model please feel free to ask. I am sure there are similarities between the two.

I now own the Minolta Vf, having recently sold the IVf...so what do you want to know about the Minolta Vf, a.k.a. Kenko KFM-1100
