The little folding (flimsy) plastic tab on the bottom of the M-7 that is used for raising the light curtain when changing lenses split in the middle. Mamiya helpfully sent me two new ones for $3.00 along with a schematic that shows that it is held in with a spring-loaded pin, similar to that on a watchband.

Problem is, I can't figure out how to get that pin out. Even with my smallest jeweler's screwdriver, there's not enough space between the pin and the collar flange, and I don't want to get ham-handed and break something.

Anybody done this who can give advice? The Mamiya tech guy told me that it's not an infrequent request and that it is a do-able home repair. (Wouldn't you think that a crank tab that gets as much use as this could be made of something more durable?)
