LH-4 Line/Halftone Film for Continuous Tone?

Has anybody ever tried using this film for in camera continuous tone negatives? Is it anything like APHS? I've searched around with no luck.

depending on what size(s) you want, you'll do far better with their continuous tone dupe film, at less than $1 a sheet for 8x10

Erie, unfortunately this is the only film I have found in the size I'm looking for, 18x23. I have a plate holder and stat camera back that is 18x24 in. and I really don't want to shave off 2 inches of film for every shot. What a waste of money that would be. The price for this size film is a real plus too, works out to a $1.95 per sheet. For ULF that would be great. I guess I will just have to run some tests on 8x10 to see if this is workable.
