It seems to have been down all day since very early this morning.

I had the same problem, figured it was a server issue. But now my bookmark to the forum gives a DNS not found error, and trying to go to the large format homepage itself now redirects to the Leica Users Group!

Pleaseplease PLEASE tell me this is a temporary hiccup!

I'll bet you're using IE. It doesn't report IP errors correctly.

DNS works (204.152.186.72), but the site won't ping.

Most likely some construction crew cut a fiber feed, considering how long it's been down. Pretty common problem.

Nope. Firefox.

But you're right - it isn't a DNS error. I was talking from memory. What I got was "requested URL not found on this server." So hopefully at worst a restore from backup and it will be back.

From the message that is shown attempting to access the .info website, the server has been damaged after being subjected to a fall of about 3 feet by something the maintenance crew did. Another has been ordered, but is not expected to be up and running until sometime on the 9th, at the soonest.

Well at least it's temporary. I can live for three days or longer if need be, hang out here more maybe.

But as for that maintenance crew - off with their heads!

That's what you get for letting the techs eat butter with their bare hands while doing maintenance.

That's one good cleaning crew... They just cleared my schedule for the next 3 days!
