So, if it's not actually a camera, what exactly is it? Description lists it as a "Vintage Wooden Large Format Camera w/ Stand" , you tell us what you think it is.

They get sold new on Ebay quite regularly, made in India, however the sellers make it quite clear they are decorative only.

We could ask the skilled Indian craftsmen to up their game and make fully working cameras, labour costs in India are far less now than China so they could easily undercut the Chinese manufacturers.
