Lenticular prints

I'm interested in having some lenticular prints made but I don't know of any places doing them in the US. I know of Snap 3D in Canada and I will probably try them, but international stuff can be kind of a pain. Anyone in the US tried Snap 3D or know of a place I can try?

I'm interested in knowing what you can do, how much you charge and where you are located. I have a roll of processed film from my Nimslo and was about to send it to Snap 3D in Toronto.

Lenticular - Lenticular images are digital files that have been specially prepared and then printed onto a lens material. This material is a special plastic made up of lenticules, hence the name lenticular printing. The image, viewed through the lenticules, appears to move as it is turned creating dramatic animation or depth.

Hmm, I don't think I'd be interested in World 3D's method of creating lenticular prints, plus, World 3D is not really for the individual looking for a print or two. One must have a minimum order of 1000 pieces or $2000. World 3D makes promotional items for companies.

Snap 3D, as far as I know, does not deal with digital files for the making of their lenticular prints. They use the old 1980's Nimslo system.

I'll just send the one roll of exposed Fuji Superia 400 film I shot with my Nimslo to Snap 3D and will let you know of the results. I've already had the film processed locally. Once the film gets to Snap 3D they'll take 4 to 6 weeks so patience is needed. I'll be ordering 8x10 and/or 11x14 prints.

So Matt, as far as I know, Snap 3D is the only reliable place in North America where you can send your film. What camera did you use?

Sorry. I wasn't suggesting World 3D. I didn't know what Lenticular meant, found their definition and thought perhaps I wasn't the only idiot that hadn't heard of Lenticular. Just posting their definition.

Sorry, John. I was just trying to move away from the digital aspect of World 3D's method of producing lenticular products.

When someone asks me what a lenticular print is, I just mention the old 3D looking little picture prizes we used to get in boxes of Cracker Jacks. They usually get it immediately.
