The Mamiya C TLRs were called in the U.K in the 1960's " the poor man's Hasselblad ".
Suits me to a T, unfortunately!

I'm mainly a portrait shooter, and I love the 135mm blue dot lens I have, I've taken some of the best mugshots of my life with it.
Thanks! The 250mm is probably best used on a tripod but it's certainly possible to use it handheld.Very impressive shots there, Arcturus. And hand-held too. Of course, you had a professional model posing for you there. Very nice.
+1, and it uses the same hood as the 80 mm.I have been shooting with a C330f for over 20 years, with 80, 55 and 135 and I give my hearty vote to the 135. Light for its class, sharp, great bokeh.

Completely wrong, the 55 and 250mm lenses use completely different lens hoods. And Hasselblad CF lenses almost all use the same size lenses. The lens hoods are the same diameter and attachment, however different focal length lenses require different hoods for the proper field of view.
From your post Mamiya products must be inferior because the 55mm lens and the 250mm lens use the same lens hood.![]()

I don't know where you got that idea Steve, the original post was discussing the 135mm lens pair and this is what I posted in responseSorry but that is what you post had stated, correction implied.![]()
nowhere did I mention the 55mm or the 250mm lenses."+1, and it uses the same hood as the 80 mm "
