Uh, I was supposed to bring the mounting flange for the Ilex #4 to my job for measuring it for lensboard drilling, but I forgot the whole thing.... Anyone know the hole size? I`ll use the flange as a nut, not screwing into the lensboard.

Thanks

Amund

If your lensboard happens to be a Linhof Technika or Color, then the Grimes #4 flange won't work as a jam nut. It is too broad and interferes with the inside lower camera surface. (The lensboard in question mounts the lenses closer to the bottom than top.)

Shouldn`t be a problem John, it`s for a Wehman 8x10 lensboard, and the lens is mounted in the middle of it. But thanks for the warning.

No problem at all with a Ilex #4 mounting flange on a Wehman 8x10 lensboard.
