Hi

I'm thinking of testing my Fujinon SW 90, after reading Kerry Thalmann's tests that I'd like to see what my lens comes up as (hey, its rainy, its autumn and I live in Finland where there is really nothing much happening this time of year).

So I'd like to know (if anyone knows) if such tests are conducted at infinity or some standard distance based upon focal length?

Thanks

Doesn't Kerry describe the method they used? Do the same then you can compare.

But at infinity which is a multiple of focal length.

your right he does (I missed it in the fine print at the bottom)

  • All lenses tested at 1:20 magnification (a typical working distance).
