who can tell me the covering power of a Hugo Meyer Gorlitz f4.5/15.3 cm it is definately a triple convertible but will it cover 8x10???

Unlikely, at 15.3cm it would have to be very wide angle at the shortest length. More likely 4x5.

I doubt seriously if the Gorlitz will cover more than 4x5. I had one of similar focal length amd found the useful image circle to be rather small, about 180mm.
