I've an old TTA aerial lens (WWII vintage) that I'd like to mount on my 2D.
But finding a ring/nut has been nigh impossible.
So the options are ...
(1) If you have a ring that you know fits, I'm interested ... or
(2) Anyone got one of those aperture mounts available @ a modest price?

As far as shutter, I'll probably construct a Jim Galli type.
They're cheap and quite reliable.

Drill a lensboard the size of the lens barrel, the closer the fit the better. Then use black electrical tape. Not pretty, but works good.
A black matboard or foamcore lensboard is another option, the hole can be slightly undersize. Fit the lens into it, and finish off with black tape.

If you want it pretty, SK Grimes can make a retaining ring, they'd probably need the lens to match the thread and sizing, they can also mount it on a board.

A hot glue gun will work much better than tape. It can be removed easily . The tape will likely leave a sticky residue .
