Here is the image in question that I came across:
http://www.theasc.com/blog/2013/06/...d-at-sfmoma-part-two/23_winograndanddaughter/

Out of pure curiosity, I wanted to find out what this lens is. The camera appears to be a Leica M2, and since Winogrand is using the viewfinder I assume it is a 35mm (he would switch between a 28-35 sometimes). My guess is based on the very "super-angulon" like design it might be the 35mm summicron pre-asph. There isn't enough resolution to identify any markings. Can anyone confirm my suspicions?

My guess would be a Type 3 summicron. The asph lens came after the dated photo.
