...I shot a music video for him, all green screen, took like a month of post work.
A month ? ? ?

You must've been working 16-hour days. That vid is a real professional job.

I agree with Leigh. The video looks great! You are definitely a multitalented dude.

Ha, thanks! That was shot with a Panasonic HMC-150, which isn't even a full 1080 camera, upscales from something a bit past 720, so it was tough! But I storyboarded every scene and got a lot of the main backgrounds started in photoshop, printed those at a photo printer so I had really good color reference for lighting. Even so, it was a ton of work. I threw a big bday party for myself and people were like "why is there a huge green screen in the back yard" - that was the big crowd/concert scene, so it's full of great friends, that was pretty cool. Shot it from the roof of my SUV!

Really enjoyed it though, just tried to be prepared as hell! I've got two music vids in pre planning now, and came up with a really good trick - scan my storyboard sketches and stick them in a video editor with the music. I can really tell where I need more coverage, and I shot and threw out a lot of stuff in the past since it turned out there wasn't enough time for it to register visually. We'll see how that works!
