Hello Folks, I have a 90 mm Graphex Optar lens, and I want to use it on my new (to me) Linhof. I talked to Mat at Midwest, and be brought out a Linhof 0 board. The hole appeared to be a little large. He said I needed a 00 board. I did some research, and I think the 0 board has 34.9 mm hole, whereas the 00 board has a 26.3 mm hole. The thread on the lens appears to be just about 30 mm. The lens kind of rattled around in the 0 lens board.

Is anyone familiar with this issue? Will a 0 lensboard work OK if I tighten the retaining ring sufficiently? Is there another lensboard I should be looking for?

Thanks in advance,

Shutters from Rochester makers -- Ilex, Kodak, Wollensak -- don't conform to the Compur/Copal standard. If you want to do it right, get a blank board and have it drilled to suit the shutter. SKGrimes will know the sizes etc.
