In my travels, I have come upon a Lektra Labs model TM-560-R decade timer. The thing looks outwardly like a darkroom timer and does something but, what it does does not seem to me to be the thing that we would call "work correctly".

So, I opened it up to have a look inside. Usually, these things are pretty simple, a few relays, switches, some wire and some manner of time keeping device. This one has an elctron tube ('valve' for the brits) inside....weird, huh?

So, I figure that if I replace the tube, maybe, it'll work? The tube is a 6V6GTA - which is apparently a favorite of the tube-guitar-amp guys...so, it is available but, at audiophile prices and not at darkroom timer prices...

Anybody know anything about these?
